Nigeria Christian Watch School and Orphanage

When the Christian Watch Contact Group at Ikot Udoetor, Nigeria decided to open a school for orphaned children living in that area, we supported the idea. The prime reason for this was our concern for their spiritual welfare, knowing that they most probably would have no knowledge of their spiritual needs.

The idea was progressed by our colleagues in Nigeria, who shared our concern, and very soon a small group were being instructed in both general education and Bible based religious studies.  The number of children attending the school continues to increase and now numbers over sixty, necessitating extra staff, including teachers, who have to be paid a salary. 

Initial finance has been provided by the Local Group, supported by Christian Watch, UK. This includes the provision of Bibles, supplied by the Trinitarian Bible Society.

Due to continued expansion there is a need for substantial further investment to provide accommodation and classrooms facilities.  When you look at the photographs do consider the importance of doing all we can help these dear children. A donation, however small, will provide some support. By giving all we can afford cheerfully and as unto the Lord, we are told of the invaluable reward.
