SEX LESSONS

Do you know what your child is being taught, while parents are kept in the dark ?

"12 year olds are being taught at school about anal, oral and digital sex, also mutual masturbation, all in the name of 'Personal, Social and Health Education'. …Droves of outraged, horrified and disgusted parents and grandparents are writing in to protest …"  So stated John Clare, Educational Editor of the Daily Telegraph (Oct 23, 2005).  He also commented, “The fact is that parents are being fed bland statements and kept in the dark.  So, at present, only a very small proportion of parents are withdrawing their children from sex lessons".

What makes the matter far worse is that Peter Tatchell’s 'gay power' organisation, OutRage, have been circulating leaflets, outside school gates, to children as young as 11 … leaflets which declare –

“IT’S OK TO BE GAY”.  “If you are not sure….it’s okay to experiment.   DON’T KNOCK IT TILL YOU’VE TRIED IT!”

Intelligent and caring parents can reasonably object that this is hardly the best message to children, when the spread of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections has officially been declared to be spiralling out of control in the UK.  Medical authorities agree that anal sex or sodomy is the major means of transmitting HIV.  Therefore both individual and united (parent groups) action is now urgent if our children are to be protected from this peril, and if we are to help avert a national disaster, of plague proportions, amongst this our next generation.

The good news is that David Bell, who is Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Schools, has admitted that – “Parents do have the right to withdraw their children from its Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) lessons… although not from lessons which teach about human reproduction”.

BUT - although the above entitlement is a well established (yet mostly hidden) fact of  UK law, its existence has been discovered by only a small minority of parents !
