Statement Of Faith
We believe:
-
There is one true God, subsisting in three persons, God the Father,
God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is Omnipotent - Omnipresent - Omniscient.
(1 John 5:7; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Psalm 139:1-24; Isa.40:1; Rev.
19:6)
-
The Holy Scriptures of truth (Received Text)
containing the Old and New Testaments is the inspired, inerrant and infallible word of God.
The Authorised Version (King James) is the most accurate translation in the English language. It does
not just contain the word of God, it is the word of God, and is our only authority in matters of
doctrine and practice.
(Ps. 119: 1-40; Isa. 8:20; 2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Tim. 3:15-17)
-
God created, in six days, all things animate
and inanimate and is the sustainer thereof. Therefore all principalities and powers being
ordained of God are subject unto Him.
(Gen. 1:1; John 1:1-5; Col. 1:16-17; Eph. 1:19-23)
-
Adam was created upright in God's image but
fell into sin, thus surrendering himself and all his descendants, subject to condemnation and the
righteous wrath of God. (Eccl. 7:29; Rom. 3:9-20; Gen. 8:21; Jer. 17:9; Gen. 2:16-17)
-
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God made manifest in the flesh.
The only redemption for sinful man is in the precious blood of the Lord
Jesus Christ. When He suffered, bled and died on the complete atonement for the sins of His people. On
the third day He rose again from the dead, and in that same cross, He made a human body, ascended into
heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father. From thence He will come to this earth a second
time to judge the living and the dead. All His redeemed people will then be received into heaven and
thus enjoy eternal glory and everlasting happiness. The wicked shall be turned into Hell* and all
nations that forget God. [*Eternal punishment, damnation.]
The judgement of Jesus Christ is absolute and
eternal.
(Matt. 25: 31-46; 1 Thess. 1: 7-10; Rev. 20: 7-10; 1 Cor. 15: 20-28; John 1:14;
Gal. 3:13;
Gal. 4:4-5; 1 Tim. 3:16; Acts 1:9-11; Heb. 9:11-14; Heb. 9:24-28)
-
The Protestant Reformation was the work of God
and constituted the greatest spiritual revival since Pentecost. The Roman Catholic Church is
an apostate* Church. [*Having departed from the apostolic faith.]
(Rev. 17:1; 2Thes.2:3-12; Jude 1:1)
